  2. For quite some time now the Xelabus X4 has during most of the day Monday to Friday, departed Eatleigh at 40 minutes past the hour and from Hedge End at 15 minutes past the hour. With the new timetable they have switched the departures most of the day to 10 past the hour from Eastleigh and 45 past the hour from Hedge End.It's changes like this that really aleinate some of the public.

  3. It is because since the company took over the brijan services the x9 service and the x4 service were both leaving hedge end at exactly the same time so one service has been moved to give a half hour frequency to Eastleigh, the peak services however are still at the same times so as not to annoy the majority of travellers to work and colleges

  4. MORE timetable changes to the CityRed 2, Three and 7 from October 23rd. Will they ever leave them alone for longer than 2-3 months!?

    1. No chance in Southampton at least,of them ever stopping. A a short while ago on informing everyone that the Harefield frequency was not commercialy viable, it was cut back to an hourly service most of the day.It was then changed slightly because they got the timings wrong in serving the school on Harefield, then changed again an increased to a half hourly service, and now a few extra journey are now being added. Why this should be heaven knows,as with so many past changes the loadings are now dismal most of the day,due to the fact of continual past changes, and no public confidence in the service,so many have now made other arrangements in getting to/from work.If I lived there I would have also made other travel arrangements. Also with all the tinkering the service between Bitterne and Woolston during the day that bing the current 9 and 13 is just awful with both services running almost together each half hour. The section between Woolston and City via Chappel which only a short time ago just had the old First route 5 once per hour, for some unexplained reason now enjoys two First 9's per hour, two First 13's per hour, plus two Bluestar 7's per hour.
